    On Firm Ground is an inspiring, heartfelt documentary that follows the journeys of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease as they face life-changing decisions, undergo Deep Brain Stimulation, and find strength, courage, and connection along the way. The film has been selected for screenings at notable festivals, including its world premiere at the 2025 Gasparilla Film Festival and additional showings at other regional festivals, drawing attention to its powerful message of hope and resilience.

    This is more than a screening — it’s a rare opportunity to witness an extraordinary story and connect directly with the people who inspired it.

  • A Celebration of Movement as Medicine

    Join Attila Mosolygo, School Director of
    The Grand Rapids Ballet, for an interactive dance therapy presentation exploring movement as medicine. Participants are invited to engage body, mind, and spirit through rhythm, creativity, and connection. The presentation features a live performance by Grand Rapids Ballet trainee dancers, whose artistry beautifully illustrates how dance can be both therapeutic and deeply human.  Hear from artistic director James Sofranko during a lecture demonstration about the details of ballet technique, as well as excerpts of both classical and contemporary choreography.
