To help you determine if a class is right for you, please refer to the following guidelines:
- Easy. Mild intensity, designed for those just getting started in a fitness program. A chair is often used as an aid for balance and support.
- Moderate. The cardio classes will be faster-paced with more involved choreography. One should be able to get down on the floor with relative ease.
- Challenging. Format and intensity of the class is designed for the more advanced exerciser.
Spin or indoor cycling is a workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. An indoor cycling class set to exciting music tracks and choreographed to provide an excellent workout and improve cardiovascular conditioning. Spinning is an athletic training program designed to provide all levels of students with a fun, safe and challenging workout. We offer classes ideal for the beginner to the more advanced exerciser. Don't forget your towel and water.
Joining a cardio/aerobic fitness class can be a great way to maintain and improve your health. Staying physically active can help you stay strong and fit enough to keep doing the things you like to do.
Strength training is just what our bodies need to fight the loss of mass and strength. A regular program of strengthening, combined with aerobic exercise, can help reduce or prevent many functional declines associated with growing older. Strength training involves briefly working your muscles, on a regular basis. Your muscles, tendons, and ligaments will become stronger and more toned allowing you to grow more stable and less prone to injury. Everyday tasks will also become easier, such as picking up grocery bags or grandchildren.
