Evergreen.

  Food Service
Cashier - Receiving
payment as people go through the cafeteria line.
Dish Washer - Washing
dishes, pots, pans and utensils for lunch and other food events.
Food Preparation
- Preparing food for the dining room, home delivered meals, and special
events.
This position involves standing, cutting, cooking, and serving.
Wait Staff - Setting
tables for cafeteria or other food events, serving beverages, meals, and
clearing tables. |

Host/Hostess
Common Grounds Café - A
great place for coffee lovers who enjoy meeting people! Making coffee, selling
coffee and goodies, and visiting with people.
Fitness Desk -
Greeting and checking people in who come to
use the Fitness Center. Also involves issuing locker keys and signing
people up for orientations. Answer general questions about the
Fitness Center.
Front Desk Ambassador - Greeting
and directing guests and members to various classes and events; answer questions and calls
regarding Evergreen Commons, and arrange and/or
give a tour. Also involves some assisting with the Common Grounds Café.
Library - Assisting
members in finding books, checking books out
and in, and keeping the library area neat.
Gift Shop -
If you are a friendly, out-going person, our
Gift Shop is a great place for you! Assisting customers, keeping the shop tidy,
and stocking supplies as needed.
Woodshop
Host - Supervising the woodshop to
ensure the health and safety of our members. Assisting members requiring help with
woodworking projects. Must have working knowledge of woodshop equipment.

Miscellaneous
Instructor
- Teaching a class about something you enjoy, such as computers, a
foreign language, or gardening. If you can teach it, chances are we can find the
students!
Seasonal
Gardening
- Helping out in our Garden Center and around Evergreen utilizing your
green thumb.
Chair
& Tables Set-up/Take-down - Occasional setting up chairs and tables,
skirting tables, and helping in other ways to make our events successful. |

Senior Care Services
Participant
Companion - Assisting
participants
with games, small group discussions, field trips, exercise, and musical
activities. The Participant Companion also helps with lunchtime.
Transportation
Assistant - Riding
the bus and assisting the bus driver by maintaining safety when he is helping
participants on or off the bus.
Entertainment
- Providing
various types of entertainment for participants. May include singing, dancing,
reading, storytelling, etc.
Foot Care Clinic - Assisting
participants and nurses, setting up supplies, collecting and recording payments, filling and
emptying foot basins, and taking reservations for future clinics.
Blood Pressure Clinic
- Taking blood
pressures and being on hand to answer questions. Must be an RN or LPN.
Home Delivered Meals
Driver - Delivering
meals to homebound, frail older adults.
Friendly Visitor - Visiting
an isolated older adult with no other contacts and sharing your companionship and
sometimes even a cup of coffee!
Tax Preparation - Filling
out tax forms for low- to mid-income older adults during tax season. AARP
Tax-Aide training is provided, and you must pass a test in order to prepare
taxes. The fun you’ll have is worth it! |

Office
Help/Accounting - Helping
with light bookkeeping duties using a number of different software
programs.
Bulk Mailing - Periodic
helping with
letter folding and envelope stuffing, and assisting with sorting for mailings. |

Technician
Sound and Lights - Running our sound board in the Auditorium at special
events and presentations. Helping make our special events even more dazzling by
"working the lights." Training in both areas will be provided. |
